Lovely to be able to celebrate with you that Carrick has such a forward thinking website. Another way to keep in touch.
Now could someone please tell me where has the corner stone at the West Gate gone? I used to touch it as a child every time I went past it and I miss it!

As I travel Ireland & UK quite a bit, I also travel the web researching the town or city that I will be working in. Most Irish and UK community websites don't permit any commenting or community involvement but this one does. Also, most websites are biased and are overly aimed at tourism but this one is different. If a community website is to be of any use, this impartiality is paramount. So 5 stars go to carrickonsuir.info for being the best community site I've seen by far.

Just wanted to send a quick message to say thanks very much for a great website! I stumbled across it several hours ago now and don't know where the time has gone! I've already spotted two cousins and an uncle in your photos as well as many acquaintances from when I grew up in Carrick!!
